Sword WebTransfer is a secure service that facilitates the fast and reliable transfer of large files between users.
The service behaves differently depending on:
► Whether the request comes from inside or outside the organization, and
► Whether the sender’s email address is authorized or external.
Depending on the sender’s status, the system uses a transfer matrix to determine one of the following actions:
►Direct download
The file can be downloaded immediately.
► Download ticket sent
The sender receives an email containing a link. By clicking this link, they can download the data.
► Confirmation required
The designated recipient is asked to confirm the transfer. Once the confirmation is received, the sender receives an email containing a ticket to perform the download.
After a successful download, the sender receives a notification, and the recipient is provided with a link to access the data.
For security reasons, all operations, including timings, are logged. This information is analyzed to detect any misuse. In case of abuse, sanctions may be applied, and the recorded data may be used as evidence.
